ˇ@ˇ@2008 Asian Art Economy Forum in Taipei , the first activity of Art Taipei 2008, will be held at the auditorium in Taipei Fine Arts Museum on August 26th and 27th. Scholars and experts around the world will be invited to analyze the current and future trend of the Asia art market, as well as the risks of art investment through four themes: International Points of View, Asia Art Market, Chinese Focus, and Spotlight in Taiwan . In this forum, the latest development and trend of Asian art market will be reviewed; meanwhile, investment opportunities and risks will be analyzed.

Art Film

 

ˇ@ˇ@Art subject films will be available for viewing in the Art Lecture area at scheduled times to provide visitors a platform for film appreciation and further understanding of artists. Scheduled for public viewing for the duration of the event are films directed by Huang Ming-Chuan on the lives of three techart artists, Liang Jen-hung , Yuan,Goang-Ming , and Hsu Jui-hsien .

Performance Art

 

ˇ@ˇ@In order to diversify the content of the fair, Art Taipei collaborates with Taipei City Cultural Foundation to arrange the groups perform during the exhibition on August 30 (Sat.) and 31 (Sun). The audiences can relax and feel the artistic atmosphere and discover the new vision of artistic perception in Taiwan through this program. The program will include ˇ§Shadow of Andersen's Illusion" which is created by Zhou Shu-Yi and the artistic director of "Scarecrow Contemporary Dance Company," Luo Wen-Jin, and other overarching programs are all suitable for family.
